What we do

Owa connects customers with local vendors and delivers the result. That covers cooked food, cooking gas refills, pharmacy and chemist items, groceries and market runs, and point-to-point parcels within our coverage area. One conversation on WhatsApp handles all of it.

Why WhatsApp, not an app

Most of our customers already have WhatsApp open, and most have limited phone storage and patchy data. Asking them to download an app, create an account and remember a password would lose more people than it served. So the whole order runs as a chat: pick what you need, tap through the options, share your location with one tap, and get told when your rider is on the way.

How an order runs

1. You choose a service, your area, a vendor and your items.
2. We confirm with the vendor that everything is available before you pay.
3. You get the full price broken down — items, packaging, service charge and delivery.
4. You pay by transfer, quoting your order number, and send the receipt.
5. We confirm payment, the vendor prepares, and a rider in your zone collects it.
6. You get the rider's name and number, and a message when the order arrives.

For vendors

Vendors receive orders on their own phone, confirm availability with one tap, and mark an order ready when it is. There is nothing to install and no dashboard to learn. If a vendor runs their own dispatch rider, that rider is offered the job first.

For riders

Riders are assigned by zone, so jobs land with someone already nearby. Every job carries the pickup address, the vendor's phone number, the drop-off address and a map pin shared by the customer. Riders confirm delivery in the same chat.

Owa Delivery Services is registered in Nigeria under business name Owa Delivery Services (BN 9517031), operating from Badagry, Lagos State. Our aim is narrow and practical: make local vendors reachable, and make delivery dependable enough that people stop planning their day around errands.
